Your Next Great Golf Adventure.

The Fox Run Golf Club in Ludlow, Vermont is everything a golfer should look for when
considering a unique place to play. The courseis challenging, yet fair, and features amazing undulating greens, a Heathland style layout and picturesque, mountain vistas. Fox Run is under brand new ownership and the course and facilities have all been updated and expanded.

New England GolfGuide had a chance to sit down with new CEO Troy Caruso to discuss Fox Run.

What makes Fox Run special?
All 18 holes feature challenging, natural elements that showcase the
breathtaking mountainside terrain. When the fescue is grown up the course is
filled with colors of green and yellow. As autumn arrives, the fall foliage surrounds
you with a sea of reds, browns, oranges and yellows. It is one of the most scenic
courses you will ever play.

Beyond the golf course what other amenities are offered?
Fox Run features Calcuttas, a full service 120 seat restaurant. Calcuttas has been completely renovated and features a bar, a full service restaurant and patio area. We consider it an upscale, casual dining and drinking establishment that is open to the public with live music Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Fox Run has a 9,200 square foot clubhouse with locker rooms and a well stocked pro shop. Our newly created Field of Games features bocce courts, horseshoe pits and even a corn hole toss.

What about practice facilities?
Quite simply, Fox Run has the finest training facility in the Region. Fox Run provides small teaching lessons and clinics as well as quality individual instruction. We have a four-hole practice course that allows new golfers and families to experience the game by playing shorter holes, or for other players to work on different skills. Our 6 acre driving range is probably the most scenic and well-maintained range in New England. In addition to the range we have a chipping area that includes a putting green, pitching area and several manicured practice bunkers. In the winter or in bad weather you can move to the inside

training center where you will find a 6,000 square foot practice area, a large putting green, 3 swing stations and a full-swing golf simulator.

What do the “experts” think of the course?
We have been awarded and lauded as one of the best courses in the country for women in Golf for Women and noted as one of the best new courses and most scenic courses by both Golf Week and Golf Digest. New England GolfGuide has made us their most recent 5-Star course. But just as importantly, our members, regular players and visitors all agree: Fox Run is a very special place to spend a day.

And when the golf season ends?
As the golf season ends it is time to reinvent ourselves as the Fox Run Nordic Center, where we feature 7 km of traditional and well manicured Nordic tract trails and skating lanes. We feature cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and snow shoeing opportunities for the entire family.

What does the future look like at Fox Run?
As we move forward, we are continuously looking for ways to improve the total
Fox Run experience by utilizing the latest technology and simple old-fashioned
quality customer service. We booked our first wedding and in our three-year
outlook we plan on building a 60-room hotel to make Fox Run a full destination
and event facility. The future at Fox Run has never looked brighter.
